Princess of Aston Acres ...

This is Shenanigans--aptly named! She is the daughter of the King of Aston Acres, Aston Chai; thus she is our Princess. One look into those eyes and you know who's her daddy! This girl has Aston written all over her. Shenanigans is an chocolate based red piebald with lovely hazel eyes. While she is your typical fiery red-head, she is also a total love. She loves playing, especially with her best bud (and, perhaps, her betrothed), Snap.

It was generally the policy of Aston Acres not to cross-breed wires and longhairs; however, our 36" baby gate, and approximately 10 seconds of leaving the door open, proved to be sufficient means for a determined stud (ahem, Aston) to scale said blockade and "score the winning touchdown." Thus, Shenanigans will only be bred to males who are proven not to carry the longhair gene. However, we are so pleased with Shenanigans, we have chosen to repeat the breeding. Our foundation wires (Daisy, Mo, Snickers, Jack, and Dash) do not carry the longhair gene, so we will not produce any "soft wires" or "silky wires."
